Strive live broadcast of the Contra 2018
From June 13th to June 15th, one of Germany’s biggest online marketing event, the Contra took place in the ISS Dome Düsseldorf. With over 1,500 attendants, the Conversion and Traffic Conference (Contra), which took place for the first time in 2013, hosted well-known YouTubers such as Dirk Kreuter and Sally’s Welt but also employees of Google, Facebook and YouTube
The hosts, Christoph Schreiber and Thomas Klußmann, organized the two-day event all-around blogging, tracking user data, increasing sales and reaching target audiences. Attendants were able to join the event in two halls and via a live webcast.
After the conference, visitors were able to make new contacts while drinking cool drinks at a festive networking party in the VIP area of the ISS Dome. Core topics of the conference were new trends, innovative business models and developments of social media platforms with the overriding goal of increasing sales.

The streaming experience was nothing but a success for us. The course of the event on site and the live transmission to our customers functioned perfectly once again. Never before have we had so few complaints as this time. We are very pleased to be able to rely on our partner StriveCDN for the live transmission of the Contra.
Streaming our event live in parallel is enormously advantageous, as we can also address audiences who, for whatever reason, did not make it to the conference personally. Then of course it is all the more important that this service works perfectly.
A live stream was provided for those interested who could not visit the ISS Dome that day. StriveCDN has repeatedly provided the worldwide transmission of the live stream. We are proud to say that the live stream optimization technology Flink worked perfectly.
